Back to School 2024 — 80 Children Return to Class with Full Support

As the 2024 academic year began, Hopefront Foundation launched its most ambitious back-to-school campaign yet. Through the generosity of our donor community, we were able to provide comprehensive school support to 80 children across three communities — ensuring that financial hardship was not a barrier to learning.

Each child who received support was provided with their school fees for the term, a full school uniform, a new school bag, and a complete set of stationery including notebooks, pens, pencils, and a geometry set. For many of these children and their families, this was a moment of enormous relief.

One mother told our team: her child had been sleeping poorly for weeks, worried about not being able to return to school. The morning after receiving her supplies, she woke up early, dressed herself, and was ready at the door an hour before they needed to leave.

Stories like this are why we do this work. Education is not just about academic outcomes — it is about dignity, belonging, and hope. Every child deserves to walk through that school gate.
