Meet the 2024 Scholarship Recipients

In July 2024, Hopefront Foundation awarded scholarships to 45 children across three communities in the Greater Accra region. Each scholarship covers school fees, learning materials, and uniform costs for one full academic year.

Recipients were identified through a careful process involving community liaisons, school teachers, and home visits. Priority was given to children from single-parent households, children of unemployed or underemployed parents, and children who had previously dropped out of school due to financial reasons.

At a small ceremony held to celebrate the recipients, one young boy — who had been out of school for two years — stood up and said he wanted to be an engineer. The room erupted in applause. That moment captured everything Hopefront Foundation stands for.
